Gloucester - Salem

Last month I visited my friend Luiza in Massachusetts. On Saturday we went together to the beach in Gloucester and then to Salem.

Here you se me at her house which is located between golf courses.

And finaly we reached our first destination.

Here comes Salem - 'The Witch City". Salem was one of the most significant seaports in early America. It boasts the first National Historic Site designated by Congress, Salem Maritime National Historic Site, which protects Salem's historic waterfront.

The most recent (and controversial) addition of significance is a bronze statue of the Samantha Stephens character (played by actress Elizabeth Montgomery) of the "Bewitched" television program in Salem's Lappin Park on June 15, 2005.
